Taiba Al-Humaidhi Named Among AACSB’s 2025 Influential Leaders

We are proud to announce that Taiba Al-Humaidhi, our founder and a 2006 graduate of the American University of Kuwait (AUK), has been selected as one of the AACSB 2025 Class of Influential Leaders. This global recognition, given by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB), honors 24 outstanding alumni from business schools who are making a meaningful impact in their communities.

Taiba was recognized in the Community or Social Impact category for her work in women’s empowerment, leadership, and community development in Kuwait. Through her initiative, Lei Wa Lakom, Taiba has helped create a supportive space where women can grow, connect, and thrive. Her efforts focus on mentorship, education, and inspiring stories that highlight the strength and potential of women in society.

This award shines a light on Taiba’s strong commitment to making a difference. She has worked hard to build an inclusive environment that supports women from different backgrounds. Under her leadership, Lei Wa Lakom has become more than just an initiative—it is now a powerful movement for change.

Being named an AACSB Influential Leader places Taiba among a global group of changemakers who use their education to make a lasting difference. It also highlights Kuwait’s role in shaping leaders who contribute to positive social progress.

At Lei Wa Lakom, we are honored to celebrate this moment with Taiba. Her journey proves that with dedication and a clear purpose, real change is possible. This award is not just a personal achievement, but a win for all women working to empower their communities.

Congratulations to Taiba Al-Humaidhi on this incredible recognition. We are excited for what comes next and proud to be part of her mission to inspire, support, and uplift.
