Lei Wa Lakom has signed a landmark Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the World Health Organization (WHO) Kuwait Country Office to advance public health awareness and community empowerment across Kuwait.
The MoU sets the foundation for a long-term collaboration between the two organizations, aiming to foster healthier lifestyles, improve mental health awareness, and promote inclusive access to health services. The partnership will run through 2028 and focus on co-developing and delivering programs that are culturally relevant and responsive to the needs of Kuwait’s communities.
Through this partnership, Lei Wa Lakom aims to integrate financial literacy into its community health initiatives—helping individuals not only understand how to take care of their bodies and minds but also how to manage their financial lives effectively.
Financial stress is one of the leading contributors to poor mental and physical health. By educating individuals on budgeting, saving, and financial planning, Lei Wa Lakom believes people can achieve greater stability, confidence, and healthier lifestyles.
As Lei Wa Lakom continues its journey of creative advocacy and impactful partnerships, this collaboration with WHO Kuwait marks a powerful step toward a healthier, more financially aware, and empowered society. Because when individuals are equipped with the knowledge to care for both their health and finances, communities thrive.
